Compassion SW is a church-led medical, dental and support clinic offered free of charge to our local community on Saturday, May 19, at Wilson High School. It is a practical way for the church to demonstrate God’s love in unity to our city. A Compassion Clinic requires up to 400 volunteers to have its maximum impact. There are a variety of teams that could use someone just like you! View all teams and sign up by visiting www.compassionsw.org. The clinic is free for the guests, but it actually costs about $32.00 for every person we serve. Would you consider sponsoring a guest to attend Compassion SW? You can put a check in the offering in the coming weeks (memo line: Compassion Clinic) or give online by visiting our website, going to Give and selecting “Compassion Clinic Sponsorship” from the drop down menu. We at GPBC have a heart to strengthen marriages. Marriage Mentors are couples in stable, strong marriages who want to help other couples have healthy marriages. Although mentors are not licensed counselors, all receive training and provide significant support for couples in any relationship stage. Don't hesitate to reach out if your relationship is experiencing difficult challenges or you just want to experience renewal and refreshment. Fill out this form to start the process.
Fragrance Free Community
We desire for our community to be a safe place for everyone who comes to worship here. In consideration of those who suffer from fragrance allergies, we ask that you refrain from wearing scented products in the church building. Thanks so much!
Manna Ministry supplies meals to people who are in crisis or other need. Our supplies are running low. Could you help rebuild our stock by preparing some food that can be frozen and ready to deliver? Or if you’d like to help but cooking isn’t your thing, you can donate money for someone to shop for a meal. No donation is too small. Contact Laura McDonald at 503.753.4179 for more details or with questions.
