  • Campus, Disc Golf Course Spruce Up Team will do light physical work outside. You’ll need gardening gloves. We’ll have designated prayer times.
  • Inside Prayer Walk Team will walk in and around our building praying for all of the ministries and all others who use our building each week.

  • Children's Ministry Partner Team will be inside in our children's area helping with resource cleaning and re-stocking needs. We’ll have designated prayer times.

We will regroup after our projects in the auditorium before heading out to Gabriel Park for lunch and play! See picnic details inside Sunday’s worship folder or below!

Picnic in the Park

Get ready for games, food, and faith-family fun on Sunday, August 25, as we all head to Gabriel Park for a picnic in the park immediately following our Community Sunday worship gathering. Everyone in the family is invited. We'll be in Picnic Areas A, B and C. We’ll provide hot dogs, buns, chips, bottles of water, plates, and eating utensils. Bring a picnic side dish and a dessert to share, along with serving utensils. Everyone is responsible for bringing their own food to the park after the worship gathering so don’t forget them at the church. Please remember to take dishes home.

FOCUS Furniture Giveaway

Every year many students come from other countries to attend college in Portland. We’d like to help them furnish their rooms. Here’s how you can help!
*Donations: Gather and bring gently used household items such as small desks, chairs, tables/chairs, dressers, bookcases, lamps, silverware, dishes, pots/pans, microwaves, etc. are needed. Items are accepted at GPBC September 23-26 during office hours. PLEASE: No mattresses or upholstered items. No clothing or decorations.
*Volunteers: On Friday, September 27, we need help to set up in the GPBC auditorium beginning at 9am. International students need help transporting their new “stuff” back to their dorms/apartments on Saturday, September 29, 9am to 12pm. This is an awesome opportunity to make a connection with a student. Pickups, vans, and SUVs are most helpful. Then 12:00-12:30pm we need people to clean up in the GPBC auditorium.
